Explanation about Latch/glovebox situation, from a Product Designer and Engineer: 1- They are made of two different materials, plastic and leather, which age differently. Matching he colors at the beginning means only that they will look extremely bad very soon. Plastic changed the color easily. So, designing them to be different from the beginning is the best choice. 2- Covering the latch with leather makes it possible to match he colors. But actually choosing different colors give the object accent and shape. ... I hope that helps

I have a 2020 Si, which I love, but I sort of prefer this one. Simple and clean, it just has so much charm to it. It also reminds me of high school in the 90s when you saw these everywhere. I am tempted to hunt one down and throw a K20 in it, it could be so much fun.

The holes on the sun visor is so you can see the traffic light changing, else you have to flip it up to peek which really defeats the purpose of sun visoring. Wish i had hole on my miatas

I'd rather have a f355 spider... The Ferrari is slower, but whatever, it's a convertible. And sure, the Ferrari has much more intensive maintenance, but it's half the price. You can get like eight engine out services for the price difference. _And_ the Ferrari is probably about to start going back up in value. Plus the Ferrari looks better, sounds better, and has a manual transmission. I know it's a weird cross shop, but it works. The two cars do _very_ similar things.

Toyota has always been a few steps ahead of everyone else when it comes to drivetrain... I think they see the "rare earth resource shortage" coming, because too many countries rely on their battery production using rare earth materials from highly volatile, or militaristic, countries in Africa and China being a problem in the future if wide spread electrification happens across the globe. Though I still don't know why America can't get electric hybrid diesels, or any of the good little euro diesels.

Commented elsewhere before, but yet another good vid. A fab looking Turbo 996. I had a new 997 Carrera S but some how it lacked old Porsche look and lacking in character. Oddly my left leg when in the cruise felt squeezed inwards from the left slightly - RHD. I went for the 996 Turbo and it certainly feels more solid, more positive to drive and very comfortable, has more of the old Porsche character. I love the awesome Le mans racing style lights etc. Way ahead of it's time, also the great Mezger engine power haus. The 996 Turbo is the real deal urban icon - Timeless unique beautiful clean design. I could have gone for a new series but the new ones can look to gimmicky and Bat Girl a bit like the new Astons nowdays just too "kit car". The 996 Turbo genius design of the best of the old and the new was way ahead of it's time. The Turbo 996 is a real deal street true urban Icon, a work of art and no I wouldn't let go if offered over 100k, because I still enjoy the car just so much.
