Meaning, I reckon, that people who are looking to spend around 120k for a car and then pay nothing for a few years might also consider spending THE FIRST HALF of those 120k and buy the Rapide. And I don't mean it in a bad way. This is a beautiful way to buy cars. Just remember, the other half (or so) of expenses is going to hit you. Please take care of it. My late wife passed away August 8th complications over diabetes compounded by being anorexic.. she had been hospitalized 20 times in the last three of the six years that she was diabetic. Couple of years ago to cheer her up I told her than an Aston Martin would make me more attentive husband She would still have to go back and forth to doctors appointments in hospitals but wouldn't it be a far more enjoyable Drive? It didn't happen, we have a 2002 Toyota Corolla. But the Rapide I think would be a perfect Aston Martin for a family, suitable for 2 and up for 4. Too bad it was discontinued. I think it would have a more suitable and larger sales than the new DPX.

To be honest, I understand why it was so expensive back in it's day. It had rear seat screens, and, well, I'm not exactly sure how many car's had the same feature as this, but, I can imagine there weren't many of those. That’s it... that’s obviously the reason this car was dead on arrival. It’s too similar in shape and style to a Vanquish or a DB9... but just stretched and with two extra doors. So if you’re getting, you ARE getting it for the back seats. But those backseats are useless. Rear seat passengers don’t ride in a car to be tossed around
