I just looked/test drove a 2021 Escalade “Sport” with rear entertainment. It is a friggen joke for a $103k vehicle. It wouldn’t compete in quality with a $50k BMW X3. The plastics used and manual second row seats with plastic levers are no better than what is found in a GM 1/2 ton pickup crewcab. Buttons and quality of leather is the same as a Yukon or pickup. I would even conclude a Ram Limited pickup is more luxurious and better executed. I was stunned GM would price the particular model I drove any higher than maybe $65k. No way is Cadillac completing with the big luxury brands of Germany.

As having owned Landcruiser, LX570, RR Supercharged, MB GL AMG63, Volvo XC90 and Escalade ESV, I am now looking to acquire a replacement vehicle - was hoping the Escalade would be offered with high performance V engine upgrade...looks like I’ll have to explore aftermarket supercharger upgrade packages 🙁

Like it very much, but why the heck does Cadillac continue to use those old lame turn signal and windshield wiper switches? Those look like pretty much the same ones found in my 1998 old beat-up GMC Jimmy. I remember reviews knocking those switches in the Cadillac STS.

That is an ugly enormous box! It looks like a hearse. All it is, is a rebadged Tahoe/ Avalanche/Suburban/GM junk. Slab sided, cut off front end, it has all the aerodynamics of a wall. Just looking at it you know it dents in a hard wind. I can't wait till all these SUVs start falling apart in two or three years, and when gas goes back up to $4 a gallon they're worth nothing again.... Like the last SUV craze. A $100K vehicle,and he says. "Don't like how it looks, the interior isn't as good as a Navigator". So it's worth $100K? NO!!
