This isn't really a "new" brand. At the end of the day it is still a Volvo, so it is technically one of the most established brands out there. I feel that Doug is misinforming people when he says that people are "taking a gamble on a new brand with this car." Buying a tesla early on was a gamble because that was truly a new brand, polestar is merely a division of Volvo, almost like Genesis is a division of Hyundai.
